Aimee Wood, Class of 2012

Updated: Jan 16, 2019

Aimee Lou Wood is an actress working between the UK and the U.S.

After leaving CHS Aimee trained at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) acting in productions including A Little Night Music, Vinegar Tom and Scuttlers. Since graduating in 2017 she has been in the UK tour of People, Places & Things and has taken on the part of Effie in a new play Downstate by Pulitzer prize winning writer Bruce Norris, running in both Chicago and at the National Theatre, London. She will also have a regular role as Aimee Gibbs in the upcoming Netflix show Sex Education.

Taking time out of her busy schedule she has managed to return to CHS to speak to current drama students about her experiences and to offer them advice.
