One of our youngest Old Wacs, former pupil Joe Birtles Clarke, had only been dancing for 17 months when he secured a place at London’s prestigious Royal Ballet School. Joe, who is currently in Year 9 at White Lodge says he discovered his natural talent and love of dancing after performing during one of CHS’s summer workshops as Geppetto in Pinocchio. Joe performed in The Nutcracker at London’s Royal Opera House in December 2017 and has gone to perform there several times since.
